La Galerie Da-End est heureuse d’inviter cet automne les artistes Marion Catusse et Mitsuru Tateishi à présenter pour la première fois ensemble leurs œuvres. Fascinée par la nature et son évolution, Marion Catusse tente d’en reproduire les principes fondamentaux en créant des cartographies imaginaires. Son singulier champ d’expérimentations artistiques touche aussi bien aux domaines de la chimie, de la microbiologie que de la minéralogie.

Les créations du peintre japonais Mitsuru Tateishi (1962-), proches du phénomène de paréidolie, sollicitent l’imagination visuelle du spectateur. Ses travaux sur toile ou papier, entre taches de peinture abstraites et réactions chimiques, sont réalisés à l’aide d’une technique étonnante faisant appel aux propriétés physiques des pigments, huiles et liants.

This fall, the Galerie Da-End invites the artists Marion Catusse and Mitsuru Tateishi to present their works together for the first time.  Fascinated with nature and its evolution, Marion Catusse attempts to reproduce its fundamental principles by creating imaginary cartographies. Her singular field of artistic experimentations relates to the area of chemistry as well as microbiology or mineralogy.  

The creations of Japanese painter Mitsuru Tateishi (1962-), close to the phenomenon of pareidolia, solicit the spectator’s visual imagination. His works on canvas or paper, halfway between abstract paint stains and chemical reactions, are made thanks to a specific technique using the physical properties of pigments, oils and medium.
