MARINE GAZIER

Née en 1998, Marine Gazier vit et travaille à Limoges, en France. Après un passage à l’EBABX, l’École des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, son parcours prend une autre direction, s’affranchissant du cadre académique pour développer une pratique singulière. Son travail a été exposé à la Galerie Meyer et dans divers espaces, mais c’est principalement à la Galerie Da-End que ses œuvres ont trouvé une résonance particulière.

Marine Gazier développe un univers pictural où la lumière et la matière s’entrelacent dans des compositions délicates et mystérieuses. Ses œuvres, souvent construites autour de figures ambiguës – parfois sans âge ni sexe – et des paysages enveloppants, captent des instants suspendus et des impressions fugitives. Travaillant au graphite et à l’aquarelle sur papier, l’artiste explore une gamme de valeurs en clair-obscur, déclinant une palette de noirs et de blancs subtils, parfois rehaussée d’un voile de couleur imperceptible. Dans cet équilibre fragile entre lumière et matière, ses compositions révèlent des présences éphémères, flottant à la lisière du visible et de l’invisible.

Bien que ses œuvres s’inscrivent dans une échelle réduite, à l’image des miniatures traditionnelles, ce choix dépasse la simple contrainte de taille. La galerie Da-End a introduit son travail dans plusieurs expositions collectives dès 2022. Au fil des années, son univers s’est imposé comme une évidence par sa proximité avec la ligne artistique de la galerie. En 2025, cette collaboration s’est naturellement affirmée, et la galerie accompagne désormais l’artiste en représentant son œuvre.

Born in 1998, Marine Gazier lives and works in Limoges, France. After a brief time at EBABX, the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, her path took a different turn, breaking away from the academic framework to develop a singular artistic practice. Her work has been exhibited at Galerie Meyer and in various spaces, but it is primarily at Galerie Da-End that her pieces have found a particularly strong resonance.

Marine Gazier constructs a pictorial universe where light and matter intertwine in delicate and enigmatic compositions. Her works, often built around ambiguous figures—sometimes ageless and genderless—and enveloping landscapes, capture suspended moments and fleeting impressions.

Working with graphite and watercolor on paper, the artist explores a range of chiaroscuro values, unfolding a palette of subtle blacks and whites, at times enhanced by an almost imperceptible veil of color. The Da-End gallery first introduced her work in several group exhibitions in 2022. Over the years, her universe naturally aligned with the gallery’s artistic vision. In 2025, this collaboration deepened, and the gallery now accompanies and represents her work.
