L’artiste française Sarah Jérôme revient à la Galerie Da-End pour une seconde exposition personnelle intitulée ‘Les éclats du crépuscule’ à l’occasion de laquelle seront dévoilés ses derniers travaux sur calque ou papier, ainsi que plusieurs sculptures.

Des fragments de corps épars, masculins et féminins, peuplent ce nouveau corpus d’œuvres et traduisent une volonté plastique persistante chez l’artiste d’ancrer l’expérience humaine dans la chair. Réaffirmant l’existence d’un continuum entre corps et esprit, Sarah Jérôme imagine l’homme en prise d’un mouvement incessant d’oscillation entre ombre et lumière, souffrance et guérison.

The French artist Sarah Jérôme returns to Galerie Da-End for a second solo exhibition titled ‘Les éclats du crépuscule’ on the occasion of which her latest works on tracing paper and sculptures will be unveiled.

Fragments of scattered bodies, masculine and feminine, inhabit this new body of work and translate a persistent plastic will from the artist to anchor human experience in the flesh. Reaffirming the existence of a continuum between body and mind, Sarah Jérôme pictures mankind trapped in a never-ending movement of oscillation between shadows and light, pain and closure.
